If you are okay with a few rain showers, the wet season is a great time for travel. You will find the parks are quieter, and lodges have great value and prices. Showers tend to occur in the afternoon so they will not have an impact on your safari. The bush is lush green. Water brings new life. You would see many newborns, and this would be a good time to observe migrating birds.

What Destinations Should You Visit?

Botswana’s most visited route would be the Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park and Kalahari. Chobe National Park is famous for its elephant herds. You can also cruise along the Chobe River and spot hippos and other crocodiles. If you are staying longer, Victoria Falls is only a 2-hour drive away.
